Tony D's Mozzarella Sticks- 6/10 crowns 

OK, these mozzarella sticks did not wow me with the looks, but for mozzarella sticks with only . crunchy outer shell, not REAL breading, not bad.

The breading: As I stated above, this brea2ding was not like real breadcrumbs, merely some crunchy outer shell coating, but I mean, like I'm still gonna eat them.

The cheese: These mozzarella sticks might have the superior breading that I love, but at least it gives me a good cheese pull. I liked that the cheese was thick though some of it did come out.

The sauce: As I write this post a day after I tried these, I am struggling to remember the taste of the sauce. Take that as you will.

Not great, but also not bad enough for me to give them

. I mean, I would not pay more money than the amount of mozzarella sticks I get (for instance, these mozzarella sticks were eight dollars and you get six), so I would not be buying these, but would eat all six provided the chance.

 Texas Roadhouse Twisted Mozzarella- 6/10 crowns   I am once again telling you I'm sure of what you're  thinking. Mozzarella sticks... Texas Roadhouse? And, sure, you would be right, this is certainly an odd combination. I come here for the onion flower, not mozzarella sticks. I think cheddar, not mozzarella. But you know what? These were actually decent. Worth the try, if you will. The breading: Jumping right into things, these were obviously frozen. I have never seen that before, and still did not see them when i got my order, so that was misleading. IHOP's Mozzarella Sticks- 7/10 crowns These are literally the *same* exact mozzarella sticks as Applebee's. I should just redirect you to that review. Speaking of  which ... Also, does that mean that IHOP is breakfast Applebee's?? The breading: Ok, girl, is there really much to say? Real bread crumbs. Good. The only thing about these breadcrumbs that isn't really my favorite is the cheese to breadcrumb ratio. There's no problem with having a lot of cheese, but my lactose a** would like more breadcrumbs to balance out the outrageous amount of dairy. The cheese: Anyway, so, the cheese always slaps.  Applebee's Crispy Cheese Bites- 1.5/10 crowns Applebee's is already on thin ice because they have once again raised their dine for two meal price from 2 for $22 to 2 for $24. ***Update 06/29/2023 2 for TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS NOW.  Utter jail. Just go to Chili's at that point because in their 2 for $25 dine meal, you get an appetizer, two entrees AND a dessert.  ***Update 06/29/2023 This Chili’s deal doesn’t exist anymore and for that they are on thin ice. There are just so many things working against these cheese bites. First, Applebee's already has a fried cheese option, the classic mozzarella sticks. These are also expensive AND they are not eligible for the half priced appetizers deal. Applebee's really fumbled the bag. The breading: The crust was a fried coating which does not necessarily have to be a bad thing, but these are just bland! No flavor.
