Tony D's Mozzarella Sticks

Image
Tony D's Mozzarella Sticks- 6/10 crowns  OK, these mozzarella sticks did not wow me with the looks, but for mozzarella sticks with only . crunchy outer shell, not REAL breading, not bad. The breading: As I stated above, this brea2ding was not like real breadcrumbs, merely some crunchy outer shell coating, but I mean, like I'm still gonna eat them. The cheese: These mozzarella sticks might have the superior breading that I love, but at least it gives me a good cheese pull. I liked that the cheese was thick though some of it did come out. The sauce: As I write this post a day after I tried these, I am struggling to remember the taste of the sauce. Take that as you will. Not great, but also not bad enough for me to give them . I mean, I would not pay more money than the amount of mozzarella sticks I get (for instance, these mozzarella sticks were eight dollars and you get six), so I would not be buying these, but would eat all six provided the chance.

Le Peep Mozzarella Sticks

Le Peep Mozzarella Sticks- 7.5/10 crowns Ok, let me start by saying that I did not have high expectations for these originally because recently, mozzarella sticks from different restaurants have been the same and not as good. Yes, I'll still eat them. No, not as good. I was surprised at how much I liked these! The breading: The breading, though not true crumbly bread crumbs, was good. It was a fried coating, but it was crunchy and crispy. The breading was also a bit thick, which is a quality I like. Some mozzarella sticks have a thin coating (Applebee's) and the breading to cheese ratio is off, but luckily not here! The cheese: This cheese pull was everything! They came out of the kitchen quickly and were hot, so the perfect cheese pull time was at its peak. Good job, Le Peep. The sauce: The sauce was good. The consistency was not too thick or thin, but perfect for me. Even the flavor was good, which is surprising because restaurants usually only have good consistency o

Menlo Pizza Mozzarella Sticks

Menlo Pizza Mozzarella Sticks- 5/10 crowns Ok, so let me start by saying that there came six to an order, and I ate them when I came home from work so they were cold, but I heated them up in the air fryer and all I have to say is thank u. The breading: Once again, this breading was crunchy and not of the true breadcrumb variety, but at least this one has little crispy crunchies on it. I mean, good. Not great. I recommend putting them in your air fryer to make them crunchier, if you own one (please invest, 10/10 won't regret). The cheese: Like after I put the mozzarella sticks in the fryer, the cheese pull was great, but when i had tow cold ones the cheese was like it you took a string cheese from the fridge and bit into it. The sauce: I mean, for an Italian restaurant, I was not here for this. again, not bad, but nothing to get wowed about. I want more, Edison!! In conclusion, like yeah I would eat these. I wouldn't pay for them though. You guys know I need my coin to

Metuchen Diner Mozzarella Sticks

Metuchen Diner Mozzarella Sticks- 6/10 crowns First things first, these mozzarella sticks definitely came from a box in the freezer. But they were good! I liked them and I thought the sauce had a goo flavor. Even the presentation was really nice  (should that be a category, too?). On to the review! The breading: The breading was crunchy, and I did like it. This type of breading, though not my favorite, has been growing on me, but I'm not sure if that's because it's the typical breading type on the mozzarella sticks from restaurants. Let's be honest though, most of these types of mozzarella sticks can't hold a candle to the Farm Rich brand from ShopRite (can someone please buy me a box so I can make them in my air fryer and review them thanks).  The cheese: Yes. This cheese pull. So good. Thank u. The sauce: Ok, I am so conflicted about this sauce because the consistency was PERFECT. Like not too runny, but also not too thick, you know? But like the taste wa
