Applebee's Mozzarella Sticks

Applebee's Mozzarella Sticks- 7/10 crowns

 These mozzarella sticks that I had on Friday night were better than I remember them to be, though that may just be because the were fresh, as I ordered them as part of the half apps deal.

The breading: The breading was crunchy and very flavorful, and I was very surprised at how much I enjoyed them. The coating was not crisp overall, but I can forgive this as it did not devalue my overall experience.

The cheese: Finally another cheese that is gooey and stringy! This type of cheese is always superior and preferable as it indicates to me that the mozzarella stick is more fresh, and this effect cannot come from a frozen mozzarella stick (at least in my experience it doesn't).

The sauce: This sauce was thicker and warm and also fresh. It has a nice flavor that is easily the second best I have tried since starting this blog. Like, it will more likely than not be the cause of the stomach ache you get later on (or is that from the grease?), but I would recommend trying it anyway.

In conclusion, I would for certain pay for these during half apps hours, maybe full price if I'm in the mood for it.

 Texas Roadhouse Twisted Mozzarella- 6/10 crowns   I am once again telling you I'm sure of what you're  thinking. Mozzarella sticks... Texas Roadhouse? IHOP's Mozzarella Sticks- 7/10 crowns These are literally the *same* exact mozzarella sticks as Applebee's. I should just redirect you to that review. Speaking of  which ... Also, does that mean that IHOP is breakfast Applebee's?? The breading: Ok, girl, is there really much to say? Real bread crumbs. Good. The only thing about these breadcrumbs that isn't really my favorite is the cheese to breadcrumb ratio. There's no problem with having a lot of cheese, but my lactose a** would like more breadcrumbs to balance out the outrageous amount of dairy. The cheese: Anyway, so, the cheese always slaps.  1908 Pizzaria's Mozzarella Sticks- 5 crowns  These mozzarella sticks are available at my university and i have been waiting to order these, but most of the time, they are sold out! The way you order them is also off-putting-- you can only order from this restaurant online through the Grubhub app so it feels very disconnected for me. This experience overall did not hit the marks for me.  The breading: The breading was easily the best part of this experience. I liked the crunch that these had, even though the flavor was bland.  The cheese: No lie, I really feel like this cheese had no flavor. It was chewy yet bland. They were also served about room temp, so there was no cheese pull to be found. Typically this food has been served cold, and yet this was still disappointing.  The sauce: The sauce at least had flavor but it just was not a good one.  I know this review is more brief than other ones I have written but I really just don't have much to say about these mozzarella sticks
